Senior Civil Engineer

Our client seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in the Houston area market. Experience in the Austin area market is a plus. The selected candidate must have experience in civil site development and be familiar with municipal zoning, land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine site development limitation.

• Preparation of site development plans for large and small scale residential, commercial, industrial, multi-use complexes, master planned communities and business parks.
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Preparation of grading plans, drainage, paving, detention, flood plain mitigation, and storm water quality plans.
• Preparation of construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports and other project documents.
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application.
• Candidate will review project comments and incorporate necessary changes.
• Research regulatory requirements, and design standards.
• Work with drafters, engineers, and administrative staff to complete projects in a timely manner and within budgets
• Candidate will perform other duties that may be assigned.

• PE License in the State of Texas
• Minimum of a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service
• Strong technical writing ability and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects while utilizing.
