Our client in Houston is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer! Hybrid work flexibility – EIT or PE preferred

A bit about usBased in one of the biggest Metropolitan areas in Texas, we are a full‑service mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering consulting firm that is HUB and MBE Certified. We recently built some of the most state‑of‑the‑art NCAA football stadiums in the Sun Belt, working with clients such as the University of Houston, UT‑Austin, and Texas A&M. Our approach relies on highly experienced and licensed engineers to ensure the quality of contract documents, thereby lowering construction costs and streamlining the process.
You will manage projects from start to finish, perform field verification work, Revit drafting, quality assurance and inspections. Our specialization is in the MEP design of K‑12 schools, colleges and universities.

- Use expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems to enhance operations and achieve goals.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize knowledge of mechanical design to create innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on the performance of mechanical systems to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning, using engineering expertise to guide informed decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on MEP systems.
- Certified Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proven experience in mechanical design with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Strong knowledge of design and construction of schools and stadiums is preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Strong communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for engineering and commitment to staying updated with latest trends and advancements.
