Job Description

Contribute to space exploration initiatives by supporting end-to-end engineering design. Analyze requirements and develop design solutions in a collaborative team environment. Perform structural, thermal, functional, and tolerance analyses, and produce standards-compliant drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Present and defend designs at formal design reviews.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in CAD software and design.

* Experience in aerospace engineering.

* Designing unique hardware components.

* Familiarity with battery technologies.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Knowledge of ASME Y14.5.

* Experience with tolerance analyses, including thermal effects and GD&T.

* Skills in rapid prototyping and 3D printing.

* Proficiency in PTC CREO or Pro/Engineer.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position, requiring attendance five days a week. The role involves working in a research and development setting focused on new product development for a unique, never-before-created product.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
