Senior Process Engineer supports the internal process engineering team for EPC projects from FEED to commissioning and post start‑up activities. Projects range from $50,000 engineering‑only work to large scale EPC engagements valued up to $200million. The role also assists with proposal and estimating for EPC project opportunities. This position determines methods and solutions for complex engineering problems, selects the most efficient and economical approaches, applies advanced engineering techniques and analysis, and serves as process engineering lead for select projects.
Responsibilities- Conceptual development of project scope and estimating for new project proposals.
- Selects and implements correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new projects, designs, and improvements for existing designs.
- Interfaces with other engineering department disciplines/leads to collaborate on projects and develop corrective action on project issues.
- Ensures and maintains compliance with corporate and engineering‑specific policies, procedures, and workflow within the process engineering group.
- Acts as a lead process design engineer on major projects, performing high‑level tasks.
- Leads internal and client‑related meetings for detailed walkthroughs and explanations of design documents (P&IDs, equipment sizing, Cause & Effect, Plot Plan, PHA, etc.).
- Reviews plant 3D models developed by other disciplines to ensure proper configuration, equipment placement, and piping routing meet the intent of the process design.
- Tracks project budgets to ensure cost control, including labor hours and engineered equipment costs.
- Has specific experience in the detailed design, installation, and integration of natural gas processing and transmission facility technologies and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering preferred. Other disciplines may be considered if all requirements and qualifications are met.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in midstream oil and gas design and/or operations.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer or actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience working within a multi‑layered EPC organization.
- Experience coordinating and managing multiple simultaneous projects as a lead process engineer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills with employees and clients.
- Professional and ethical leaders willing to mentor and train young engineers.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.

Travel is occasionally required.
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
