Activités- Demonstrate safety as a core Total Energies value and comply with all site safety policies, Polymers Americas safety activities and objectives.
- Collaborate with the PPA US Manager and Global PPA team to offer the most suitable products in response to customer RFQs, maximizing profitability for the account.
- Follow up on customer forecast, credit, and delivery to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Investigate complaints promptly and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
- Attend to customer needs in molding trials for bumpers, body panels, side sills, rocker panels, airbags, and other unusual materials.
- Generate and provide certifications required by special automotive customers—PPAP, PSW, ISO/A2LA, TDS, COA, etc.
- Schedule regular meetings (via Teams or in person) to maintain customer proximity and strong relationships for growth.
- Conduct customer prospecting: introduce PP Automotive USA, present products, follow product trials, and solve complex performance, molding and color issues to drive business growth for PPA Americas.
- Develop and maintain allocated accounts that align with overall growth areas and profitability set in the budget.
- Maintain positive internal relationships with local teams and dotted‑line responsibility to the European PP Automotive Team.
Education/Experience
- B.S. degree or higher, preferably in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant polymer experience, with a strong working knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and specialized end‑use processing, especially injection molding.
- Ability to organize, multi‑task, think analytically, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective leadership, active listening, and negotiation.
- Ability to travel independently 15–20% of the time.
