Senior Consultant – Energy Solutions Advisory

Role Overview

Senior Consultant in Energy & Power focusing on energy advisory services in North America, deploying leadership skills to develop innovative solutions that support growing power demands and accelerate the energy transition.

• Lead client engagements and comprehensively analyze and clearly articulate energy solutions to a range of audiences.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of key drivers in energy solutions and their application and implications for project design and delivery, including sustainability, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical leadership, client account managers, and sales professionals on strategic pursuits.
• Manage client relationships to ensure expectations are understood and met, and involve the broader team as needed for resolution of any concerns.
• Oversee assigned projects to minimize risk and adhere to project budget, schedule, scope, and quality, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
• Manage internal teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors.
• Lead in identifying, developing, and pursuing business opportunities with existing or new potential clients.

• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• At least 8 years of design, consulting, or project development experience.
• Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, and win work, and then deliver innovative solutions providing value to both the client and provider.
• Demonstrated ability for higher‑level strategic, exploration, concept, and development planning for energy projects, including knowledge and application of new and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated skills in concept and developed design optimization programs to guide sound technical guidance for decision making.
• Effective presentation, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Experience and understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Comfortable and effective working independently, as well as leading and collaboratively working in cross‑functional teams with multi‑levels of the organization, including owner personnel and third‑party engineers and contractors.

• Professional registration.
• Experience with utility‑scale power generation / storage (all technologies).
• Experience with energy master planning for large load users.
• Experience with decarbonization planning.
• Experience with microgrids and other distributed energy resource systems.
• Experience with data center or mission‑critical loads.
• Experience with complex energy system modeling.
• Experience with technical due diligence.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
