Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Drilling and Completion Fluids;
  Lab and/or operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage individual technical projects with little oversight.
• Work in laboratory environment using benchtop scale equipment.
• Design/Optimize/Mix Drilling and Completion fluid formulations on lab scale.
• Conduct laboratory-scale testing, related to Drilling and Completion fluids.
• Prepare technical reports based on results of testing.
• Review data, conduct data analysis, and draw meaningful summaries and conclusions from results.
• Communicate effectively with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Laboratory equipment maintenance and calibrations.
• Author/co-author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations.
• Share expertise via networking channels and expand the informal network throughout the organization.
• Work in collaboration with other departments/functions to develop cost-effective, reliable chemical products and solutions.
• Review and comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.

Nice to Have:

• Master of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Drilling and Completion Fluids;
  Lab and/or operations.

Skills:

• Statistical analysis experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
