Position summaryWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, modification and reliability of Polytex’s manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will work together with our engineering, production and maintenance teams to improve efficiency, implement equipment upgrades and ensure that our flexible‑packaging lines run safely and smoothly. Candidates should be hands‑on problem solvers who are comfortable moving between design work, data analysis and on‑the‑floor implementations.
Keyresponsibilities
- Design and modify equipment.
Plan, conceptualize and create mechanical designs for new or modified machinery using CAD software, generating 3D models and prototypes and assisting with testing and validation.
- Process and Safety improvement.
Design and deploy system improvements for both new and existing equipment to enhance quality, safety, and production performance.
Work closely with cross‑departmental teams, including Production and Maintenance, to ensure timely and effective project completion.
Required qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within manufacturing, packaging or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software preferably Solid Works.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
