Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for motor and motor control applications, including engineered solutions, design improvements, troubleshooting, and product development.
• Perform failure analysis on motors, generators, and related equipment.
• Develop and review specifications, upgrades, and reverse-engineered component solutions.
• Support customer service teams with powertrain solutions involving motors, couplings, and gear drives.
• Manage engineering resources to deliver projects on time, within specifications, and within budget.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, ethics, and company reputation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze technical data and develop solutions across diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with AC/DC motors, generators, motor controls, and power generation applications preferred.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, NEMA, EASA) and ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation.
