The Texas Department of Transportation’s Houston District seeks a Transportation Engineer I–III to advance traffic projects, including PS&E for signals, signing, ITS, and roadway illumination, improving safety and mobility for Houston-area corridors.
Responsibilities include assisting Project Managers with resources and schedules, coordinating studies, designing traffic systems, and reviewing PS&E and traffic analyses. PE eligibility is required or expected within six months of hire.
