Salary: USD 200,000 – 250,000 per annum + bonus, benefits. Hybrid working model with occasional site and client visits; international and domestic travel required (approximately 15%–25%, depending on project phase).

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will take a leading role in the mechanical design and integrity of turbine-based power generation systems. You will act as a technical authority across multiple projects, ensuring robust engineering delivery from concept through to commissioning.
Responsibilities- Leading mechanical design and analysis for turbine and rotating equipment systems
- Acting as technical authority across gas and steam turbine projects
- Overseeing FEED, detailed design, installation, and commissioning phases
- Reviewing mechanical design packages, calculations, and vendor documentation
- Supporting troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and reliability improvements
- Collaborating with electrical, controls, and project engineering disciplines
- Engaging directly with clients, OEMs, and EPC contractors
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
- Extensive experience in power generation or heavy rotating equipment environments
- Strong background in gas turbines, steam turbines, or similar rotating machinery
- Knowledge of mechanical design standards, materials, and stress/thermal analysis
- Experience delivering large-scale industrial or energy infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
