WOM is seeking a Wellhead Designer to join our Engineering team at our Canemont facility in Southwest Houston
. This role will support both Engineering and Sales by designing and developing conventional and compact wellhead equipment, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and operational requirements.

• Design new products and prepare layout and detailed engineering drawings.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Develop running procedures, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Apply knowledge of API 6A, ASME standards, ISO drafting practices, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Plan, coordinate, and review design and drafting activities related to custom customer solutions.
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards, quality requirements, and performance expectations.
• Assist in the development and improvement of products to meet evolving market and customer needs.
• Monitor and report project status, including schedule, productivity, and design quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.

• Associate degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in conventional and compact wellhead design.
• Proficiency in Solid Works.
• Strong understanding of API 6A and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
