Commissioning Specialist

We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Specialist to lead and perform commissioning activities across new construction, renovations, existing building commissioning, and asset management projects. You'll work directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors — leading QA/QC and Functional Performance testing, supporting equipment and systems start‑up, and ensuring safe, fully functional environments that meet design requirements. This role involves both office and on‑site activities with up to 50% travel.

Pay: $60.00- $80.00 per hour DOE

• Lead and perform all commissioning activities including QA/QC and Functional Performance testing
• Support equipment and systems start‑up to ensure safe, fully functional environments
• Commission new construction, renovation, existing building, and asset management projects
• Work directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best outcome for the owner
• Ensure all work meets established design requirements, operational performance, and stakeholder expectations
• Participate in both on‑site field activities and office‑based project support

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
• 10+ years of progressive commissioning experience in utility infrastructure, mechanical/plumbing systems, building automation/controls, and facility O&M
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and TAB process mechanical testing and code requirements
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to travel up to 50% — including multi‑week field assignments and periodic long‑term assignments
• Demonstrated multi‑year job commitments preferred — stability is valued in this role
• Nice to have:
  Healthcare facility commissioning experience
• Industry‑recognized commissioning certification (CxA, BCxP, or similar)
