Main Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate Tenaris products to meet current and future customer needs, providing technical guidance to create value and optimize product applications.
- Promote and sell Tenaris products and services through engineered, value-based solutions, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders by understanding their operations, challenges, and business objectives.
- Provide technical support to customers on product applications and services, overseeing field deployment of new products and initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce rig costs, and enhance safety.
- Collaborate with product development teams to connect customer insights with new product opportunities and anticipate future industry needs.
- Identify opportunities to add value to customer operations, demonstrate product differentiation, and support revenue growth.
- Conduct well design analysis, such as stress checks, torque and drag calculations, and material selection, to guide customers in selecting casing solutions that meet technical and safety requirements while minimizing rig time.
- Support teams and, when required, lead customer investigations and claims management processes, providing technical expertise and contributing to company objectives, while participating in the development and review of customer-specific sales strategies to enhance operational outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in a related engineering or operations role within the oil and gas industry performing each of the following: leading and overseeing casing installation activities; developing well designs and driving material selection based on operational, environmental, and mechanical loading conditions; utilizing Landmark Stress Check and Well Plan software for well integrity analysis and design evaluation; conducting tubular and connection cumulative fatigue assessments during casing installation;
applying technical knowledge of casing and tubular systems, including OCTG steel grades, performance characteristics, and premium connection technologies to assess suitability for complex well conditions; and applying API 5CT, API 5C5, API 5
CRA, ISO 15156, and NACE standards to material selection, design, and failure prevention.
Requires up to 10% domestic travel on a bi-monthly basis to visit drilling rig operations in the West Texas and North Dakota regions.
