The Global Process Engineer (GPE) works closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader to develop and deploy global manufacturing standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment and processes across Aero Alliance facilities. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, standardizing equipment and manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and supporting the implementation of new technologies, asset transfers, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes while establishing global process and equipment standards.
  • Define and control global manufacturing processes, including facility integration, equipment acceptance testing, machine health checks, preventive maintenance, spare parts strategy, and technical training.
  • Validate engineering specifications and support implementation of new manufacturing processes across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Materials, Sourcing, and EHS teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify new repair processes.
  • Drive reliability improvements using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing equipment downtime, improving quality, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Support asset lifecycle management, equipment optimization, and preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Train and mentor manufacturing engineers across global facilities while promoting standardized processes and best practices.
  • Participate in the design, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment with a focus on reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industrial manufacturing or quality experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar technical role with expertise in aeroderivative, aircraft engine, or gas turbine testing and balancing.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, quality systems, blueprint interpretation, and project management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

  • Salary Range: $104,600–$174,400
