** LSI Staffing is HIRING an Engineering Test Techcian at out client  in NW Houston.*
* ** MUST HAVE Experience starting pay $30.00*
* PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Performs mechanical assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a test project under the direction of engineers, designers or other engineering support personnel.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understands and complies with all safety rules and company policies

- Must be able to prepare jobs as directed.

- Schedule upcoming testing

- Stage equipment for testing

- Organize and maintain inventory of test fixture

- Conduct engineering tests and laboratory analysis under the direction of Engineers, Tech Advisors or other Engineering support personnel.

- Prepare necessary test results/recordings for reports and analyzing engineering data.

- Confer with staff engineers, engineering manager and others to identify problems and offer solutions.

- Orchestrate, assemble and execute validation testing and other test lab functions under the direction of other engineering personnel

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Makes sure work area is kept clean and orderly

Education/Experience

Requires high school diploma. Past experience in packers, downhole tools or related oilfield equipment preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is also preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and/or complete routine reports.
