In this role, you can expect to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of our aircraft. Join us and play a crucial role in maintaining top-notch aviation standards.

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Functional Testing :
  Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures.
• Problem Diagnosis :
  Analyze in-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues.
• Troubleshooting :
  Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies.
• Component Replacement :
  Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed.
• Flight Testing :
  Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed.
• Instruction Compliance :
  Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions.

What you need to be successful:

• A high school diploma or a GED is required.
• A minimum 3 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair is required.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, it applicable is required.
