Engineering Test Technician

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ENGINEERING TEST TECHNICIAN IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Engineering Test Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This individual will be responsible for conducting engineering tests and laboratory analysis under the direction of Engineers, Tech Advisors or other Engineering support personnel. The ideal candidate will possess some previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Starting at $30 to $34/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st shift schedule: 6 am to 2:30 pm
• Located in Houston, TX

• Understands and complies with all safety rules and company policies
• Schedule upcoming testing and stage equipment as needed
• Organize and maintain inventory of test fixture
• Conduct engineering tests and laboratory analysis under the direction of Engineers, Tech Advisors or other Engineering support personnel.
• Prepare necessary test results/recordings for reports and analyzing engineering data

• Requires high school diploma. Past experience in packers, downhole tools or related oilfield equipment preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is also preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering sketches or drawings.
