We're seeking a Planner/Scheduler III to support a diverse portfolio of major energy infrastructure projects
, including offshore, onshore oil & gas, gas distribution, and underground storage initiatives.
Travel: Occasional travel to Canada may be required.
What You'll Do- Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 project schedules using Primavera P6
- Build schedules from scope, including WBS, logic, durations, milestones, layouts, and filters
- Integrate contractor schedules into a master project schedule
- Perform schedule analysis and provide real-time updates to project execution teams
- Support full project lifecycle scheduling from planning through execution and closeout
- Monitor schedule performance, critical path, earned value, and project progress
- Integrate schedules with project cost tools (Eco Sys preferred)
- Generate reports for schedule, resources, and cost performance
- Resource load labor, materials, and non-labor activities
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, legal, land, environmental, government relations, and contractor teams
- 5-10 years of project scheduling experience (no more than 10 years)
- Advanced Primavera P6 experience
- Experience supporting capital projects from initiation through completion
- Experience integrating multiple schedules into a master schedule
- Strong analytical skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions and identify schedule risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter who proactively follows up and drives work forward
- Oil & Gas capital projects
- Gas distribution or pipeline projects
- Underground storage projects
- Offshore projects (preferred but not required)
- Regulatory project experience
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- FERC regulatory experience (nice to have)
- Develop Level 4 schedules from project scope
- Create WBS, task logic, durations, layouts, and filters
- Resource loading in Primavera P6
- Generate S-Curves
- Maintain resource assignment tools
- Produce schedule, resource, and cost reports
- Integrate third-party schedules into enterprise master schedules
Top candidates should expect a hands-on Primavera P6 assessment where you'll build and update a project schedule in a live P6 environment.
