Field Pipeline Safety & Damage Prevention Specialist

Location:

Client Worksites (Field-based position) in SE Texas

• Monitor excavation and construction activities near client pipelines and assets
• Perform Right-of-Way (ROW) monitoring for client, second-party, and third-party work
• Identify potential damage prevention risks and ensure mitigation measures are followed
• Ensure work complies with client damage prevention and safety policies
• Recognize and respond appropriately to Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOC) and emergencies
• Maintain clear communication with Local Operations Management
• Accurately document field activities and report incidents promptly
• Understand scope of work specific to client assets and projects

• Completion of an approved training program (minimum 3 years)
• Ability to complete DOT pipeline qualifications, including OQ 192.35 and 192.359
• Strong understanding of pipeline safety, excavation oversight, and damage prevention
• Ability to identify field hazards including chemical, physical, excavation, and natural hazards
• Open pipelines, tanks, or vessels containing hydrocarbons
