Job Description & How to Apply Below
We're developing advanced robotic systems that enable the next generation of space exploration, satellite servicing, in-orbit manufacturing, and planetary missions. Our team combines innovation with engineering excellence to deliver reliable hardware capable of operating in the harshest environments imaginable.
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a proven background in flight hardware development to help design, develop, test, and deliver mission-critical electronics for spaceflight applications.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop electrical systems for space robotics, including control electronics, power distribution, sensors, and embedded hardware.
- Take flight hardware from concept through design, integration, qualification, and flight acceptance.
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, cable assemblies, and electrical interface documentation.
- Perform hardware integration, debugging, and environmental testing (vibration, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC).
- Support system-level integration with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams.
- Participate in design reviews including PDR, CDR, TRR, and FRR.
- Investigate and resolve hardware anomalies during development and testing.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable aerospace standards and quality requirements.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience developing electrical flight hardware for spacecraft, launch vehicles, or other aerospace systems.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer or similar).
- Experience with hardware integration, troubleshooting, and laboratory testing.
- Familiarity with aerospace electrical standards, component selection, and derating practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing robotics or mechatronic systems.
- Knowledge of radiation-tolerant or radiation-hardened electronics.
- Experience with motor control, power electronics, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with FPGA or microcontroller-based designs.
- Experience with environmental qualification testing for space hardware.
- Understanding of ECSS, NASA, or MIL-STD design and verification standards.
Why Join Us?
- Work on cutting-edge space robotics with real mission impact.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of passionate engineers and scientists.
- Competitive salary and equity opportunities.
- Comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
- Professional development and conference opportunities.
- Be part of a company shaping the future of autonomous operations in space.
