Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Engineering Governance Coordinator to support a confidential offshore decommissioning project. This position will provide integrated engineering coordination across drilling & wells, operations, subsea, and topsides engineering teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong interface management experience within offshore decommissioning, heavy lift, subsea, or major offshore execution environments.

Duties
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering scopes and deliverables supporting offshore decommissioning execution activities
  • Manage engineering interfaces between drilling & wells, operations, subsea, topsides, marine, and contractor teams
  • Maintain interface registers, deliverables trackers, and engineering readiness documentation
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are issued on schedule to support procurement, mobilization, offshore execution, and work pack development
  • Coordinate drilling & wells activities including P&A alignment, platform readiness, temporary systems, and structural removal sequencing
  • Support offshore operations integration including isolations, de-energization, purging, cleaning, and safe handover processes
  • Coordinate subsea decommissioning engineering activities including pipeline abandonment, flushing, pigging, manifolds, jumpers, moorings, and recovery methods
  • Support topsides decommissioning activities including dismantlement, heavy lifts, module removals, and temporary works planning
  • Manage technical queries (RFIs/TQs), engineering action tracking, and change management documentation
  • Support HAZID/HAZOP reviews, SIMOPS reviews, constructability reviews, and execution readiness assessments
  • Coordinate with contractors, marine spread providers, and offshore vendors to ensure engineering alignment
  • Track engineering progress, schedule performance, and project risks while supporting recovery planning efforts
  • Maintain governance compliance and ensure engineering activities align with project delivery requirements
  • Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement throughout project execution
Requirements / Skills
  • Experience supporting offshore decommissioning projects, subsea intervention, pipeline abandonment, rig-based P&A, offshore construction, or heavy-lift campaigns
  • Strong understanding of offshore safety, regulatory compliance, contractor management, and risk management practices
  • Experience coordinating engineering interfaces across multiple disciplines and contractors
  • Proficiency with engineering deliverable tracking, forecasting, and progress reporting
  • Familiarity with document control systems, SharePoint, EDMS platforms, and project scheduling/reporting tools such as Primavera or Eco Sys preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills with the ability to drive technical issue resolution
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced offshore project environments
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to HSSE standards and safe execution practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline preferred
  • Offshore project or decommissioning experience strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and computer use
  • Ability to attend meetings, review technical documentation, and coordinate across multiple project teams
  • Occasional travel to offshore facilities, fabrication yards, or project sites may be required
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to support project schedules and deadlines
