Role:
Substation Physical Designer
Responsibilities:Prepare detailed substation drawings including general arrangements, electrical equipment plans, section views, grounding and lightning shielding plans, conduit details, and control building layouts. Interpret vendor info, perform client walkdowns, and adhere to standards.
Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of substation design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Micro Station, with an associate's degree or equivalent technical experience. Ability to visualize 3D parts and apply engineering principles.
Skills & Knowledge:Knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, design techniques, and engineering science. Preferred associate's degree in CAD.
Key Duties:Collaborate with project teams in high-voltage substation projects, interpret technical data, and produce accurate design deliverables.
