Volta Grid, LLC seeks an Application Engineer to work in Houston, TX.

• Coordinate and manage power generation projects with a strong focus on data centers.
• Plan, manage, and deliver power generation projects involving energy infrastructure for clients, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met in alignment with company goals and industry standards.
• Liaise between internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and clients, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication across all parties.
• Oversee technical aspects of projects, including system design, installation, and integration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.
• Recommend effective resource management, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Liaise with leadership and key stakeholders regarding project progress, budget status, and potential challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the refinement of project management methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a closely-related degree field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in project management in power generation, energy infrastructure, or data center industries.
