You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to understand project needs, develop technical solutions, and oversee successful implementation. Bringing a broad application of engineering principles, you will contribute to moderately complex projects with increasing independence, playing a key role in driving technical excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries related to product specifications, features, and integration capabilities
- Clearly communicate technical solutions to both sales teams and clients
- Ensure proposed solutions are accurately sized and compliant with quality standards
- Support and lead segments of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation
- Participate in sales meetings, offering technical insights during customer discussions
- Collaborate with operations and project management teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Estimate project costs and assist in product design decisions alongside sales and production teams
- Conduct installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new or custom products in the field
- Develop tools and documentation to facilitate product transitions to internal teams
- Contribute to process improvements, design enhancements, and cross-functional problem-solving initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to work independently on moderately complex technical tasks
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and technical documentation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD software
- A proactive, strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, sales, production, and project management teams
