Windrose Surveying & Land Services LLC seeks a motivated Surveyor in Training to support construction and Engineering & Architecture projects. In this entry-level role, you'll assist licensed surveyors with field data collection, construction staking, boundary and topographic surveys, and preparation of CAD base maps. Responsibilities include operating survey instruments, downloading and processing field data, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with engineers and architects.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed surveyors with field data collection for construction and design projects
- Operate survey instruments (total station, GPS/GNSS, data collectors) under supervision
- Perform construction staking and layout per plans and specifications
- Support boundary, topographic, and control surveys
- Download, process, and organize survey data for CAD and GIS use
- Prepare basic survey sketches, notes, and CAD drawings with guidance
- Maintain equipment, field logs, and accurate survey documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and field crews to resolve site issues
- Follow safety protocols and QA/QC procedures on all projects
- Pursue ongoing learning toward Surveyor-in-Training/Professional Surveyor licensure
