Stantec's Houston, TXoffice has an opportunity for a Chemical Engineering Intern to join their Water practice. Stantec’s Industrial Water team is a dynamic team of experts working across a wide range of industries including power, datacenters, semiconductors, energy, mining, etc.
The successful candidate will:- Have a strong interest in water, especially industrial water, and a desire to build a future career in this field
- Assist the local project delivery team with report and documentation preparation, project administration, and research assistance
- Develop process engineering deliverables including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, vendor coordination, etc.
- Prepare technical project reports
- Assist with proposal development efforts
- Assist with resolving RFIs and submittals
- Be willing to visit project sites, participate in hands-on field learning, and support commissioning activities, if required
- Be willing to support a variety of projects across different industries, including semiconductors, datacenters, energy, mining, and more
- Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes
- Other duties as assigned
