AG&E Associates is seeking a Construction Administration Engineer to support construction-phase activities across a variety of structural projects. This position will support projects located at various locations throughout the United States.

Responsibilities- Conduct onsite observations of construction activities under the direction of the engineer-of-record
- Perform site visits to evaluate existing conditions across multiple project types to aid the engineer of record in the design of the project.
- Prepare site observation reports documenting observations and recommendations
- Assist in developing solutions to address construction-related issues and deficiencies
- Track and verify implementation of corrective actions in the field
- Assist in the evaluation of change order requests in collaboration with project engineers
- Assist the design engineers in the research of product submissions and alternative details submitted by the contractor.
- Support QA/QC efforts through review of design documents and specifications
- Facilitate resolution of field issues and disputes between contractors and engineers
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 5 years of construction-related experience
- Experience performing site observations for structural systems, including steel and cast-in-place concrete
- Familiarity with foundation systems and construction methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with contractor and engineer coordination or dispute resolution
- Strong technical reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams
- Frequent travel to project sites may be required, including with limited advance notice
- Ability to perform field work and site observations
- Remote work environment with travel as needed
