Mechanical Engineer
SLB New Energy & Industrial (NEI) is a division of SLB; our portfolio includes ventures in carbon capture and sequestration, geothermal power, energy storage, sustainable battery‑grade lithium, hydrogen, and Data Center Infrastructure Solutions.
SLB’s Data Center Infrastructure Solutions business provides innovative and cost‑effective solutions that enable building faster, smarter, and more resilient data centers. Our modular infrastructure solutions scale AI and cloud computing capacity while minimizing capital risk and deployment delays. From design and supply chain to commissioning and operations, by standardizing components and relocating labor to controlled offsite environments, we help reduce costs, improve lead times, and lower construction risk while ensuring quality and global repeatability.
SLB is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our New Product Development (NPD) team supporting next-generation Data Center Infrastructure products and technologies. This role will work closely with experienced engineers and product development teams to design, develop, prototype, and test innovative mechanical systems used in modular data centers and advanced cooling solutions.
The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the development of products such as Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), piping manifolds, cold plate cooling systems, server rack cooling equipment, and modular containerized infrastructure solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work across the full product development lifecycle, from concept generation through prototyping, testing, and commercialization.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer with strong mechanical design fundamentals, an interest in thermal and fluid systems, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to help build innovative products in one of the fastest‑growing industries supporting AI and cloud computing.
