Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects for public, private, and municipal utility district clients. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who can oversee project design and delivery, manage budgets and schedules, develop client relationships, and guide engineering teams from initial planning through construction. The ideal candidate is a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer with strong water and wastewater experience, proven project management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects while supporting continued business growth and client satisfaction.

Work Arrangement: On-Site

Salary: $150,000-$210,000 annually

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years of recent water and wastewater engineering experience, including pipelines, pump stations, chemical dosing systems, reservoirs, and similar projects.
  • Professional Civil Engineer license in the state of Texas required.
  • Experience supervising engineering personnel in Water/Wastewater project delivery.
  • Experience developing construction documents including plans and technical specifications.
  • Experience developing engineering cost opinions, technical memorandums, and design reports.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines as well as work independently and within a team setting to support project delivery.
  • A motivated self-starter who displays a passion for solving problems, interacting in a team environment, and meeting established deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and understand projects, determine project objectives, and develop and implement engineering solutions with limited oversight.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, municipal utility districts, public agency officials and community leaders.
  • Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations
Responsibilities

Responsible for providing all aspects of engineering for water/wastewater utility projects for public, private and municipal utility district clients.

  • Prepare proposals, budgets, and client agreements.
  • Lead and oversee design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects including detailed engineering design and calculations, report writing, permitting, and presentations to clients.
  • Write responses to client RFQs and Solicitations
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
  • Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules
  • Lead project delivery as a Project Manager responsible for technical design, project financial performance, scope and schedule management, project staffing, and quality control.
  • Direct and manage the implementation of a project including coordination with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and other external and internal parties to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and manage construction phases of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with the contract documents, on time and budget.
  • Meet of Exceed the KPI (Sales, Revenue, Profit, Quality, and Client Satisfaction)
