Field Engineer

I have a client in the Houston, TX area actively looking to add a Field Engineer

In this role, you will be working as a Field Engineer for a company that specializes in the performance, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibration and analysis of rotating and fixed equipment.

This is a Direct Hire
Role. In this role, you will be traveling
50% - 75% of the time.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• CAT II Vibration Certification and more than 6 months demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with data acquisition and vibration monitoring equipment, exercising care for sensitive instruments, cables and analyzers.
• Ability to perform safely and independently around operating industrial equipment, such as reciprocating and centrifugal gas compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, and other industrial equipment as needs arise.
• Applicants should have basic 3D CAD modeling experience in either PTC Creo, Solid Works, or Solid Edge.
• Applicants should have basic familiarity with numerical calculation tools like Mathcad, Matlab, DADiSP, or similar.
