Transcend Solutions a critical role in delivering specialized solutions that protect both people and the environment. By joining our team, you’ll contribute to our shared mission of protecting global industrial operations and shaping the future of environmental stewardship.
The Transcend IDEA Lab Technician role will support Transcend’s customers in the Gas Processing, Refining, and Chemical industries by generating meaningful, solutions focused reports. Customers use these reports to make critical decisions about protecting process and equipment. The Scientist will participate in discussions with other team members to understand the customer need. The Scientist will plan and perform the appropriate analytical investigation and determine the structure and narrative for the report.
As the investigation unfolds, the report structure or narrative may need to be adjusted based on the results of analyses. The analytical work will regularly include but is not necessarily limited to evaluations on process fluids, contaminants, filtration equipment and other materials encountered in these industries. The investigations sometimes require outside analyses by third party labs. The Scientist will be responsible for planning and coordinating all analyses in a timely manner for inclusion in the customer report within the agreed upon deadline.
This role is essential to helping customers resolve process upsets, verify filtration performance, and ensure our engineered solutions deliver measurable results. This position requires solid background in chemistry, material science, mathematics, and technical report writing. Other required traits are strong analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, flexibility, executing projects and tasks with a sense of urgency, the ability to adapt methods and learn new laboratory instruments as their functions apply to the Transcend IDEA Labs use case.
