Process Engineer | Natural Gas Storage | Houston, TX | Direct Hire

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join a newly formed, PE-backed natural gas storage and midstream company following the recent acquisition of several operating assets.

The business is already generating $80M+ in EBITDA and is continuing to build out its Houston-based engineering team to support multiple natural gas storage assets across the USA.

This is a small, lean organization where the person coming in will have significant visibility with senior leadership, a real voice in how the assets are operated and developed, and will report directly to the CEO

We are looking for someone with experience in areas such as:

• Natural gas compression
• Gas gathering and transmission
• Gas/liquids and liquids/liquids separation
• Natural gas treating and processing
• H2S and acid gas removal
• NGL extraction and J-T processing
• Underground natural gas storage operations
• Injection and withdrawal operations
• Plant process surveillance and troubleshooting
• Pro Max, HYSYS, or similar process simulation software
• Process optimization and performance studies
• PHA, HAZOP, MOC, and RCFA
• Capital projects and facility upgrades
• Injection and withdrawal capacity forecasting

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with Operations, troubleshooting plant performance, developing process solutions, supporting facility upgrades, and helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and storage performance.

There is also significant long-term growth potential
. For the right person, this position could develop into a larger engineering leadership role as the organization continues to grow.
