Field Quality Engineer Direct Hire | Houston, TX | Up to $85,000 + 10% Annual Bonus Be the Technical Expert Behind Product Quality and Warranty Success

Are you an experienced Field Quality Engineer with a strong background in tractors, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or off-road machinery
? Join a growing team where you'll investigate product failures, drive corrective actions, and work directly with dealers, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze failed warranty parts and perform root cause investigations
  • Review dealer and customer quality concerns and provide timely resolution support
  • Inspect components against engineering drawings and identify non-conformances
  • Prepare detailed failure analysis reports and present findings to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve product quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Support product updates, service campaigns, and warranty recovery efforts
  • Monitor dealer service portals and partner with field service teams to address technical concerns
  • Conduct parts teardown inspections, quality audits, and product evaluations
  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in failure analysis, quality engineering, inspections, warranty analysis, or root cause investigations
  • Extensive knowledge of tractors, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or off-road vehicles required
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, diagnostics, ECUs, and troubleshooting tools
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and inspect parts for compliance
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
