We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to serve as the primary environmental technical resource for our manufacturing site. This role will lead environmental compliance programs, provide technical guidance to operations and leadership, and ensure compliance with applicable air, water, and waste regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the site's primary environmental compliance and technical subject matter expert.
- Lead environmental compliance programs across air, water, and waste.
- Manage permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and agency communications.
- Oversee Title V compliance, emissions inventories, and air permit requirements.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, sampling, and compliance activities.
- Support waste management, wastewater, and stormwater compliance programs.
- Lead environmental audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide environmental support for operational and capital projects.
- Partner with plant leadership to identify and mitigate environmental risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of environmental compliance experience within manufacturing, chemical, industrial, refinery, or similar operations.
- Strong experience with Air Compliance, permitting, emissions reporting, and Title V programs.
- Experience managing regulatory reporting and environmental compliance documentation.
Knowledge of water, wastewater, and waste management programs. - Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and supporting environmental audits.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership across the site.
- Experience in Texas and familiarity with TCEQ regulations.
- HAZWOPER certification.
- Experience with waste and wastewater program management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Air Compliance and environmental reporting, with the ability to work independently, manage regulatory requirements, and support site-wide environmental initiatives.
