I am working with a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to its Houston operation.
The position will involve managing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects while supporting clients throughout the Greater Houston region.
Salary: $130,000-$180,000, depending on experience
Job Specifications:- Manage municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Oversee project budgets, schedules and technical deliverables
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
- Coordinate the design of pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities and related infrastructure
- Maintain relationships with municipal and utility clients
- Review plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates
- Support proposals, interviews and business-development activities
- Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of the local team
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer license in Texas, or the ability to obtain one
- Previous municipal water or wastewater engineering experience
- Experience managing infrastructure projects and project teams
- Knowledge of water distribution, wastewater collection, treatment or conveyance
- Strong client-management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Existing Houston area client relationships would be beneficial
