Role Description

Are you passionate about community building, program management and driving the adoption of cutting-edge robotics and NDT technologies in asset integrity? We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong background in energy or process industry, with knowledge of robotics, technology adoption, and program management.

This role requires expertise in managing industry-wide initiatives, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and overseeing programs that support innovation in inspection and maintenance robotics. You will support the further development and growth of the SPRINT initiative in the USA, as well as global initiatives to develop a body-of-knowledge, best practices and industry guidance, as well as community building, training and knowledge transfer.

The role focuses on building and strengthening the SPRINT network, connecting relevant stakeholders within the Inspection & Maintenance, robotics, energy, and wider process-industry ecosystem, and creating opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

The role is particularly suited to someone who understands how robotics and other technologies are implemented in real industrial environments and who enjoys working with people, building relationships, facilitating discussions, and connecting different organizations and viewpoints.

• Manage a portfolio of programs and industry initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives in support of the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative.
• Drive community building and engagement with stakeholders across oil & gas, energy, and chemical sectors, facilitating collaborations that advance robotics applications.
• Coordinate SPRINT activities and projects with support from the remote team.
• Program planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Provide industry expertise and guidance on the adoption and implementation of robotics solutions and digitalization in asset integrity management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, universities, research institutions, and other collaborators to foster innovation and knowledge exchange.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments affecting robotics in oil and gas, energy, and the chemical sector.
• Hands-on delivery of successful events
• Identify opportunities to expand the SPRINT network and increase industry participation.
• Initiate and facilitate events, workshops, meetings, and discussions focused on industry challenges, technology, and collaboration.
• Lead the development of project proposals, funding applications, and strategic business cases to support technology adoption initiatives.
• Support your colleagues in the team in delivery of Quasset projects.

• Technical background,BSc/MSc level, preferably in the field of engineering, science or mechatronics
• At least 5-7 years practical experience in program or project management, preferably in the oil & gas, chemical and/or energy industry and related to robotics
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable facilitating meetings, workshops, events, and group discussions.
• Comfortable presenting technical and industry topics to different audiences.
