We're looking for consultant – MPD Project Engineer | Houston, TX
We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineer for a project-based subcontractor position located in Houston, Texas
.
- Perform MPD hydraulics, ECD/ESD, SBP, surge/swab, and operational simulations.
- Develop MPD programs, operating matrices, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Review MPD equipment requirements, P&IDs, and system configurations.
- Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
- Engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- 5+ years of drilling/MPD experience.
- Strong knowledge of MPD operations, wellbore hydraulics, and well control.
- Experience with MPD hydraulic modeling/simulation software.
- Strong technical, communication, and client-facing skills.
