Are you an experienced Offshore Installation Engineer with strong expertise in SURF, SPS, subsea systems, and vessel operations
?
We’re looking for a Lead Installation Engineer to take ownership of installation engineering activities across projects, tenders, and studies while working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Clients, and Suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Lead installation engineering activities across project execution streams
- Develop installation methods, schedules, risk registers, MDRs, and materials lists
- Lead constructability, risk assessment, readiness & operational reviews
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Global Sourcing & Package Engineers
- Provide technical leadership for manufacturing, fabrication, SIT & shorebase activities
- Support offshore execution and ensure work follows approved installation procedures
- Act as a key technical/client interface
, including offshore vessel operations - Prepare project briefings, dive/task plans, MOCs, lift plans and other project documentation
- Coach and mentor installation engineering team members
- 8+ years of offshore installation engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
- Strong experience with SURF – Subsea Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines
- Knowledge of Subsea Production Systems (SPS)
- Strong understanding of vessel operations & offshore installation
- Experience with multidisciplinary projects and complex work packages
- Knowledge of DNV-ST-N001 and relevant industry standards
- Strong experience in risk assessment, mitigation & Management of Change (MOC)
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Project
