Reports to:

Track Superintendent Primary

Purpose:

Performs general grounds maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

* Mow and trim public areas including picking up trash.

* Cleans horse stalls and shovels manure.

* Operates backhoe, skip loader and small tractor in maintenance of public areas.

* Cleans and sweeps restrooms in the stable area.

* Installs and dismantles rails on turf track and replaces divots on turf track as needed.

* Locates irrigation leaks.

* Other duties as assigned.

Primary

Purpose:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma preferred. TxRC License required.

Work Experience:

1 year general maintenance.

Skills:

Ability to operate mowers and trimmers.
