Job Description

About the roleThe donors you meet will motivate you. High‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener, including phlebotomy, to support plasma center operations.
Responsibilities- Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and team safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lb., with occasional lifting up to 32 lb. and rarely 50 lb.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- 90 % of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1).
- At least one year of minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.

Starting hourly wage: $16.00 per hour.
