Outside Operations Lead

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, invites an Outside Operations Lead to join our team at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. The role serves as a frontline operations leader, supporting event execution across the park’s venues while ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent client service.

• Lead and support event setup and breakdown activities, including traffic flow setup, signage placement, and barrier installations.
• Communicate event information and expectations to assigned staff and assist with day‑to‑day supervision.
• Serve as a lead presence in parking lots and exterior areas during assigned events.
• Assist with coordinating labor to ensure efficient and effective event execution.
• Oversee preparation, placement, and organization of vehicle and pedestrian directional signage.
• Ensure all equipment and setups meet NRG Park safety and operational standards.
• Assist with setting up, transporting, programming, and maintaining digital message signs (DMS).
• Support the maintenance and accountability of equipment, tools, and materials used in Outside Operations.
• Operate equipment such as golf carts and assist with equipment handling as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate operational updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Support supervisory activities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Assist with training staff, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance during events.
• Address operational issues as they arise.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in event operations, logistics, parking operations, facilities, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience leading small teams or coordinating tasks is a plus.
• Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

• Work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced event environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Exercise judgment and initiative while supporting leadership staff.
• Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing event needs.
• Strong organizational skills and customer service mindset.
• Work long and irregular hours, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and Internet applications.
• Familiarity with parking systems or signage programs is a plus.

• Stand for long hours during events and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Move around the facility, lift up to 50lbs., and perform repetitive movements.
• Recall safety and operational standards during dynamic event activities.
