Scenic Carpenter​/Set Builder – Houston; Temp

We are looking for experienced scenic carpenters, fabricators, and set builders to assist with the construction of immersive entertainment environments in Houston. This hands‑on, project‑based work involves building themed rooms, interactive elements, scenic walls, props, finishes, and physical game environments similar to escape rooms, film sets, haunted attractions, experiential marketing installations, or themed entertainment attractions. Ideal candidates are fast, resourceful builders who are comfortable working in a creative environment where designs evolve quickly and practical problem‑solving matters.

Temporary / Contract / Freelance. Full‑time hours available during active build periods.

• Build scenic walls, flats, platforms, frames, props, and themed environments.
• Read and work from sketches, plans, reference photos, and verbal direction.
• Perform carpentry, fabrication, assembly, painting prep, and installation work.
• Assist with scenic finishing and physical problem‑solving on‑site.
• Work collaboratively with designers, technicians, artists, and project managers.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Help install and strike temporary structures and scenic elements as needed.
