COMPANY BACKGROUND

The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi‑faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men’s and women’s professional teams – the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.

PURPOSE

OF THE JOB

The Parking Attendant directs guests where to park in relation to events on the Shell Energy Stadium property as well as assist with credit card transactions or passes. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to. The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and experienced in managing security personnel in a fast‑paced live event environment.

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pregame and Event Preparation
    • Review event schedules, event overviews, VIP movements, and parking plans.
    • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
  • Game Day Operations
    • Must have the ability to handle credit card and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Assist with parking ingress and egress.
    • Must be customer friendly, self‑motivated, and enjoy working around people in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Effectively communicate with guests, clients, vendors, and other personnel.
    • Monitor game day parking operations, including VIP and restricted access areas.
    • Serve as a point of contact for parking issues, escalations and real‑time problem solving.
    • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience in event operations or large‑scale operations is preferred.
  • Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Have reliable form of transportation and communication.
  • Physical and Work Requirements
    • Ability to stand and walk extended periods.
    • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
    • Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
