Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst/Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. You will also play a key part in extracting valuable insights from financial data to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth reviews of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing financial performance and key metrics.
• Ensure all financial reporting activities comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other relevant accounting frameworks.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and management, to gather information and provide financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current accounting standards and stay updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification a plus.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a senior accounting role with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Oracle Net Suite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
