A global industrial services and manufacturing organization with operations across North America and internationally is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Houston-based finance team. The business supports customers in energy, infrastructure, and heavy industry and operates within a complex, asset-intensive environment.

This is a hands‑on, general accounting role with broad responsibility across financial reporting, controls, and operational finance. Candidates from manufacturing, industrial services, engineering, or closely related sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and detailed variance analysis
• Review and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities in partnership with operational stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Assist with statutory reporting, external audits, and internal audit requirements
• Support cash management, working capital analysis, and intercompany accounting
• Partner with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes and systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred (or in progress)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Background in manufacturing, industrial services, engineering, or similar operational environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a deadline‑driven environment

• Broad, end‑to‑end accounting responsibility rather than a narrow specialist role
• Exposure to a global, operationally focused business
• Strong interaction with operations and senior finance leadership
