Lead Senior Credit Analyst Job Houston area,Texas USA,Finance & Banking

The Lead Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for the ongoing development of regional Level I and II credit analysts;
Maintaining up to date market level risk profiles;
Aiding the Regional Credit Manager ("RCM") in managing loan requests through the approval process;
Providing support in underwriting loan requests with loan exposures at Executive Loan Committee ("ELC") Level.

Essential Duties

Lead regional level I and II Analysts in conjunction with the RCM to ensure skill development and work quality is consistently maintained.

Prepare comprehensive loan memorandums detailing loan requests and credit quality for loan presentations and approval. Lead Senior Credit Analysts are expected to underwrite credit requests of all sizes and complexity.

Conduct the credit review process to ensure that all underwriting, policy, and compliance procedures are followed for all requests and support RCM on ELC requests.

Apply City Bank loan policy and confirm all risks have been identified to ensure loan approval memos are transparent to the approval authority.

Maintain effective relationships with Senior Management and lending staff and assist Lenders on client calls/meetings.

Mentor and train level I and II Credit Analysts, as well as coordinate and oversee internal group training at all levels.

Participate in the hiring process and development of the credit department.

Identify and coordinate external training opportunities for credit department.

Participate in training modules that consist of advanced credit analysis, management, and leadership annually.

Other job duties as required by the Regional Credit Managers.
