The Tax & Finance Manager is responsible for the tax and financial operations of Fracht FWO Inc. and its legal entities, with primary responsibility for tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This role ensures accurate accounting and reporting per US GAAP while managing federal, state, and local tax obligations. The ideal candidate will have deep tax expertise and strong finance knowledge to optimize the company’s tax position, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial decision‑making.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Tax Management (Primary Focus):
  • Direct U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance filings, including Income, Franchise, Sales & Use, and Property Taxes.
  • Provide strategic tax planning, identify tax‑saving opportunities, and advise management on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with multi‑state tax requirements and stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities, external advisors, and auditors regarding tax matters.
  • Support tax audits and inquiries, preparing documentation and responding to regulatory requests promptly.
  • Monitor and implement tax process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Finance & Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate recording of financial transactions and accounting records per US GAAP and internal policies.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Support annual budgeting and financial planning processes with insights from tax and accounting perspectives.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to support financial and tax audits.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and reporting systems.
Collaboration & Professional Development:
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within finance and tax functions.
  • Provide guidance to finance staff on accounting and tax‑related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate objectives.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required;
    Master’s preferred.
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax management, including multi‑state taxation and complex tax issues.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting, and corporate finance.
  • Proven ability in tax compliance, planning, and audit processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence decisions and provide actionable tax and financial guidance.
