Our community bank client is seeking a Personal Banker in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will handle customer service functions and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.

The position offers a salary of up to $70K plus incentives and excellent benefits. (This is not a remote position)

• Manage customer bank accounts; open, close, and oversee transactions
• Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
• Answer customer inquiries via phone regarding deposits and basic loans
• Perform account maintenance and updates
• Follow bank operating procedures
• Complete reporting tasks as assigned
• Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary

Skills and experience include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of customer service experience
• Experience in loan sales, application processing, and loan closing
• Understanding credit reports, loan stipulations, scheduling closings, and processing documents
• Ability to sell ancillary insurance products
• Strong relationship-building skills within the bank
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
