The PositionOur community bank client is seeking a Personal Banker in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will handle customer service functions and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
The position offers a salary of up to $70K plus incentives and excellent benefits. (This is not a remote position)
Responsibilities include:- Manage customer bank accounts; open, close, and oversee transactions
- Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
- Answer customer inquiries via phone regarding deposits and basic loans
- Perform account maintenance and updates
- Follow bank operating procedures
- Complete reporting tasks as assigned
- Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary

Skills and experience include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Experience in loan sales, application processing, and loan closing
- Understanding credit reports, loan stipulations, scheduling closings, and processing documents
- Ability to sell ancillary insurance products
- Strong relationship-building skills within the bank
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
