SUMMARY:
NW Houston PE-backed portfolio company seeks an experienced FP&A Analyst. Great opportunity for C-suite and PE firm exposure. Must have proven financial modeling skills; a case study will be part of the interview process.

DESCRIPTION:
Our rapidly growing, successful PE-backed client is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. The role involves partnering across the business, owning reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and working on cross-functional projects. The position offers high visibility, working closely with operations, finance, accounting, and the C-suite, supporting the company's growth through acquisitions and greenfield developments.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management and bank reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Provide management with timely, insightful reports on company results.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze business metrics to understand performance across organization, industry, and regions.
  • Assist in the adoption and utilization of BI tools and data across the organization.
  • Partner with the accounting team to support financial reporting and align data structures.
  • Create and improve reporting decks and dashboards.
  • Requirements:

    • 2-5+ years of relevant FP&A and financial modeling experience, preferably in private equity, management consulting, public accounting, or investment banking.
    • Experience developing scalable processes for a company and its entities.
    • Proficiency in building financial models from scratch.
    • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills.

    Preferred Skillsets and Experience:

    • Exceptional Excel modeling and presentation skills.
    • High standards of accuracy and organization.
    • Working knowledge of GAAP.
    • Project management experience and cross-functional collaboration skills.
